Why is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" or "Rich Site Summary". This technology uses XML and allows web sites syndicate their content as an RSS feed to provide news in common format.
How can I use RSS?
In order to subscribe to and read RSS feed, you should have an RSS reader (also called a news aggregator). RSS reader checks the feeds that you've subscribed to and present to you news of these web sites in a summary format, allowing you to click on links to read more about an item on the feed.
Where do I get RSS reader?
Many web browsers and email clients offer native RSS capabilities. There are also many good programs available for download (some of them are free) and many online RSS readers that allow you to view your subscriptions.
What do I need to do to subscribe to RSS feeds?
Many web sites display an icon with or without the acronyms RSS or XML to let you know a feed is available. Feeds are generally indicated by one of the following icons: , or .
Once you have found the icon, you can enter the URL that the web site has offered for the RSS feed. This is typically accomplished by clicking an icon and then copying the link to your RSS reader.
